Freihofer’s Community Walk

The construction on the greenhouse is nearly complete- but we need help raising funds for the sustainable systems that will live inside and be teaching tools!  This includes the aquaculture system (click here for a description), dirt, plants, rabbit cages, chickens and ducks, mushroom spawn, and more.

The Radix Center is participating in the Freihofer’s Community Walk on June 4th, 2011.  Funds raised will be used for teaching tool supplies.

Can you help?

The Community walk happens right after the Annual Freihofer’s Run for Women, which combines some of the top International and American women distance runners and over 4,000 women from the Capital Region and across the nation. From Olympians to recreational runners, it’s a wonderful blend of competition, participation and camaraderie.

The start and finish lines are located on Madison Avenue, between the Empire State Plaza and the New York State Museum in Albany, NY.
