Come learn how you can recycle your food waste into valuable fertilizer, even in the depths of winter!
Scott Kellogg, co-author of The Toolbox for Sustainable City Living: A-Do-it-Ourselves Guide and co-founder of the Radix Ecological Sustainability Center, will be on hand to cover the basics of composting, teaching you how to make a backyard compost pile, or an indoor worm composting system. For those unable to compost at home, we’ll talk about the Radix Center’s new residential compost collection program, and how you can sign up for service.
We’ll also have a worm composting bin on display – kids are welcome!

I’m not sure how I ended up here, but I’m glad I found this website, albeit too late to participate in the composting workshop. Kindly advise if/when you plan on having another composting workshop. I’ve tried composting in the past, with mixed results, and would love to attend a workshop on it and also to see how worm composting works.
Regards,
Maria
